Self-Talk

Negative self-talk often stems from negative messaging we heard in our childhood. We recall bad memories more easily and in greater detail than positive ones. Negative self-talk is damaging and can worsen stress, depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges. Shifting the narrative in our head takes lots of practice and time, but it is possible. Start by recognizing your negative self-talk, so that you can make proactive changes. Positive self-talk helps with anxiety, depression, stress reduction, boosting confidence, improving resilience, building better relationships, and overall well-being.
